Janie and Jack Place is a community of friendly, welcoming mothers that share the fun of dressing their children!  As JJP members, we love chatting about new lines, old lines, matching pieces together, brand mixing, and of course, showing other members pictures of our children in their adorable clothing!  JJP Members also have exclusive access to the JJP MarketPlace, where we buy, sell and trade our new or gently used clothing.  We often find incredible deals and those hard-to-find pieces to complete our collections!

Q:  Is Janie and Jack Place only for buying and selling clothing?

A:  Janie and Jack Place is not limited to discussion or sale of clothing.  We do discuss many of the hot brands,  from Janie & Jack to Mini Boden, Gymboree, Gap, Next, Pumpkin Patch, and custom clothing and European boutique lines.  If it’s cute, we want to see it!   In addition, you’ll also find plenty of talk about life in general, hobbies, entertainment, the ups and downs of parenting and relationships,  pregnancy and birth, politics, and world affairs.

However, our pride and joy is our sense of safety and of community.  The staff of JJP works very hard to ensure the safest MarketPlace that you can find.  We keep our membership close and intimate because we love sharing pictures of our gorgeous kiddos and stories from their daily lives, and we want to have a degree of safety when BSTing.

JJP members are great friends too!  They will happily offer to check their local stores for pieces you need; they’ll share their hard-to-get coupons by hosting a Group Order and passing on the deal to everyone, and there’s always a friend around, day or night, to lend a listening ear.

Q:  Why do I have to apply to be a member?
A:  We have a thorough application process in order to determine an applicant’s history of BSTing, as well as their character on the internet.  We keep a close eye on our MarketPlace, and are swift to intervene if we come across potential problems.  It’s often difficult to feel safe on the internet.  We wanted to create a community where women feel safe sharing their lives, and are able to BST in relative safety. 

Q:  Does it cost money to join?
If you are approved for membership at Janie and Jack Place, you will be invited to join our forum for free for 30 days.  We want you to get a sense of the JJP community to see if it’s a right fit for you.  You will have limited access during this trial period.  You will not be able to Private Message members, nor will you be able to participate in the JJP MarketPlace or view any of our Gallerias. 

Anytime during this trial period, you are welcome to upgrade to a full membership and become a Fashion Passion Member!
